A one cent accounting error has left the school budget short by $67,000. The county cut the amount of property taxes allocated to the schools from 89c to 88c, which means the county is under funding the schools according to the state.
An amendment vote is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 19. The school board will meet at 5 pm, the commission at 7 pm.
