If you should run into the ‘blank’ page problem when upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0, be sure to check out this page. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/54008?replies=39. Set everything up for the upgrade, then follow all of the instructions you find on the forum page. Once the changes have been made, attempt the upgrade again.
