I can see clearly now…or can I

The cataract surgeries are over, my eyes have been released from the doctors care and a perscription for new glasses is in my hot little hand.  Does this mean I have a license to see again?  Perhaps a license but the actuality is far different.  Have you priced glasses lately?  The choices were simple.  I could go to Walmart, which is close and pay $340, not including frames or I could travel an hour one way to visit Lenscrafters.  From that establishment, with a $75 coupon, I could come away with a pair of lenses for $320 again minus the frames. The choice is clear, even if my vision is not.
