How to get mommy’s attention
Picture it, a little ball of fur as round as she is tall. Mommy’s not paying attention and she wants to go out NOW! This little fireball races around the table, building speed before she barrels across the room, takes a flying leap and bounces off the back of my chair with all four feet!

Nashville Tennessee Flood 2010
Middle Tennessee has been devastated by major flooding. Some accounts state that there was up to 16 inches of rain in two days in some areas. It is now seven days since the flooding began; some areas are still under water, with many people displaced and unable to even return home to survey the damage. Bridges have been washed out and many roads appear as if they were the victims of an earthquake.
Adventures in Disney
It’s been about a year since we went to Disney but I’ve decided to make a few comments about the trip anyway. We had a fantastic time and Triniti is making plans for our next trip. We had hoped to go in Oct. 2009, but that didn’t play out as expected.
The picture I’ve posted here is one of my favorites. We were in the Teacup ride; Billy and Trin were doing their best to fling me up and over the side and I was doing my best to snap as many pictures as I could.
Health Insurance — Bah!
You have insurance in effect, you’re switching to a new plan. Think it’s easy? HIPPA will insure continuous coverage? Think again. The state of Tennessee may think otherwise. Apparently, a TN. law says HIPPA doesn’t apply when going from a group policy to an individual policy. Oh, you can get continuous coverage, but it’s going to cost you double! If you don’t mind waiting for 12 months to be coverd for pre-existing conditions, a policy might cost you $1200 a month. The guaranteed issue policy is a cool $3600 a month. So yeah, you can get it, but if you can afford it you can probably also afford to self insure.
